Racing Patriots prepare for 2015 Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown

The PHCC RacingPatriots prepare for one of the biggest annual events to hit SoBo Speedway on April 23rd.

The Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown which is a fundraising event held by NASCAR Sprint Cup star Denny Hamlin to support Cystic Fibrosis awareness and prevention, is known to draw a lot of attention.  This year the event will be broadcasted nationally in the month of May, after the April 23rd Event.  With names like Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Matt Kenseth, Jeb Burton, Matt Bowling, C.E. Falk, Timothy Peters and David Ragan present in running the event in years past, the Racing Patriots will have their work cut out for them against some of NASCAR’s big names.  Last year, Anderson and the Racing Patriots team handled their own well and placed 9th in the event.  This year we will expect much of the same competition, and a great crowd on hand to witness the event.
